Jimmy and Penny Christopher immigrated to Boston from Greece. They met and married in the US and went on to open multiple restaurants on the North Shore. Jimmy retired in 2012 and Penny decided to carry on the family business with her son Paul. Penny combined her years of experience in the restaurant business along with her love for design in order to bring an authentic Greek grill into Boston. Today, Penny and Paul operate Gyro City in Boston and Brighton where they follow Jimmy’s recipes in order to provide the most authentic Greek food outside of Athens. All of the food is handmade and prepared freshly every day.
